£30,000 to £35,000 per Anum (Depending on experience)

The Opportunity

Our client has continued to grow consistently year on year since 2019. With this growth comes more employees, more manufacturing sites, increasing customer demands, and the need for stronger QEH&S systems.

To support this journey, we are seeking a QEH&S Co-ordinator to join our Hertford Office. This is a newly created role, offering the right candidate a genuine opportunity to shape the position, contribute to business improvements, and develop their career within a growing organisation.

The role will report directly to the Head of QEH&S (based at our Thetford Manufacturing Facility) and will work closely with colleagues across all functions of the business.

The role will involve occasional travel to customer sites within the UK, and, on rare occasions, to locations within Europe.

The Candidate

Confident in an office environment and able to work effectively with a variety of functions and stakeholders.

Looking to take the next step in a QEH&S career, or ready to transition and bring skills from another discipline into this field.

Positive, adaptable, and able to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Head of QEH&S and fellow QEH&S Co-ordinator in developing, integrating, and embedding QEH&S systems, such as: -

Sub-contractor selection and approval.

Employee and contractor inductions.

Legal compliance (e.g. PUWER, LOLER, COSHH, Risk Assessments).

Health Surveillance.

Own and manage customer-required QEH&S compliance systems and Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP), including:

Safe Contractor

CHAS

Individual Customer Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ’s)

Ensure Hertford Office fire safety equipment, first aid supplies, and other safety systems are maintained in line with company and regulatory requirements.

OFFICE BASED Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
