Property Management Apprentice Ref: JJJT76

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Negotiable

Hertford

Our client is based in Hertford and manages a large portfolio of Blocks of Flats and Commercial properties.

Property Managers need to have a knowledge of law, building construction, facilities management, project management, tendering, supervising contractors, managing concierge staff, preparing budgets and keeping costs under control.

We are looking for a level 6 apprentice who will spend one day a week doing university studies and the rest in the office or out on-site visiting buildings. The University College of Estate Management in Reading offers a BSc (Hons) in Real Estate, but there are other options.

During this time the apprentice will be able to complete the Level 4 qualification of MTPI with The Property Institute (www.tpi.org.uk). Once the degree has been completed there is the option to study for the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence to become a Chartered Surveyor MRICS.

This is a new venture for HSCPM, and four weeks paid work experience is offered to a candidate prior to A Level results. This work will include researching the apprenticeship schemes and funding offered by the government. If the candidate decides not to follow this path, then the opportunity and paperwork should all be in place for another candidate.
