The Role -

The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that orders are produced on time, in full and to the specified quality standards to satisfy customer demand in line with confirmed orders.

All packing operatives and machine operatives (cosmetic pads) report into this person.

An active “hands-on” role within the production team, based in the Production Office on the shop floor. To take direct responsibility for the daily organisation of the workforce and to be the main point of contact for both the cosmetic pads packing team and site management.

Backup support to the warehouse and machine operatives for key machine operation, forklift truck cover, maintenance & troubleshooting

A detailed and up to the minute knowledge of the current status of the activities in the cosmetic pads section so that rapid decisions and responses can be made when circumstances change.

To ensure that a clean and well organised environment is always maintained.

To develop staff to ensure personnel are sufficiently trained and all key areas of the operation are properly covered for maintaining continuous production flow.

To ensure that all relevant cleaning, routine maintenance documents and checklists are completed on time and in full.
