We are seeking a experienced commercial General Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management, sales of soft and hard landscaping, be confident in heading up a small team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget to the highest standard of safety and quality.

8 to 16 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all landscaping projects.
• Identify new business opportunities and secure new customers.
• Participate in marketing and networking events to build brand awareness.
• Stay informed of industry trends and competitors.
• Be the main point of contact for clients and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of project proposals, quotes and timelines to clients.
• Oversee the building and maintaining of strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Oversee all projects progress and support the Project manager to adjust as needed to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Implement best practices and quality control standards for all field operations.
• Oversee equipment and material procurement and usage.
• Work with the Finance/Office Manager to develop budgets and forecasts for the business.
• Approve expenditure and monitor cost control measures.
• Oversee the hiring, training and managing of all field staff.
• Oversee efficient use of labour.
