A well established, market leading acoustic engineering company are looking for a Project Manager to join their contracts team based in Hertford. The company designs, manufactures and installs acoustic equipment for the building services and construction industries in London and throughout the UK.
About the Role:
Oversee and manage the lifecycle of projects from receipt of order to practical completion.
Managing the Cad Designers, Site Fitters, Subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure that projects are delivered within the requirements of the specification, drawings, and internal quality standards.
Attendance at meetings with Customers and Design Teams.
Completion of dimensional surveys prior to detailed design.
Control of finances to ensure that projects are completed within budget including responsibility for procurement of all plant, equipment, and subcontractors.
Responsible for overall Health and Safety Management on projects including compiling Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Reporting to Senior Management and Directors.
Ensure that the Client is kept up-to-date with information and progress.
The Candidate must be:
Able to multitask and manage time to ensure efficient running of projects.
Able to form, build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Able to communicate, both in writing and in person, in a professional manner.
Self-motivated with good problem solving and project management skills.
Have Building Services or Construction Industry experience.
Proficient in the use of computers including Microsoft Office software.
Preferably degree educated or some form of relevant further education.
Prepared to travel and have a full driving license.
