Operations Administrator - £23,000-£25,000

We have a new position in Hertford for an Operations Administrator. The purpose of the job is to help the Operations team by getting involved in purchasing, supporting production planning, providing timely and accurate reports and data analysis, general administration.

To do this Operations Administrator role you must… be very well organised, be able to prioritise, demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, work well under pressure and be a good communicator at all levels within our organisation.

Your responsibilities as Operations Administrator are…

  • To purchase stock and merchantable items, consumables, maintenance spares, tools and equipment for branches and customer orders.

  • To ensure on time deliveries.

  • To work with other team members to support on production planning and checking stock availability.

  • To provide administration support for the UK workshops and supply chain team.

  • To support our UK Sales and Customer Service Teams with timely and accurate inventory and resource information.

  • To create and provide timely reports.

  • To raise and progress supplier complaints.

  • To ensure the accurate filing and updating of documents. 

  • To carry out other duties that may reasonably be required


The Operations Administrator Working hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 4pm on Fridays.

Holiday entitlement: 24 days + Bank Holidays.
