Head Chef - £30,000-£38,000
Salary- negotiable (£30k-£38k based on 40 per week. Overtime paid thereafter).
Hours Mon-Fri 9am-5pm plus weekends. Time off in lieu also available.
Our clients based near Royston are a top end catering company and they are currently recruiting for a Head Chef.
As part of the events team, the role will involve prepping at base (nr Royston, Hertfordshire), but then setting up at event sites including stately homes and client homes across the Home counties and Hertfordshire. Hours- 40 hours a week 9am – 5pm during quieter months, but during summer months, opportunity for overtime and weekend work will be necessary. No split shifts!
The ideal candidate has a strong passion for culinary excellence and a keen eye for detail and have a passion for providing exceptional food quality and presentation.
Excellent Pay for the right candidate! Overtime also paid.
·Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production
·Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards
·Assisting with Overseeing Stock Control
·Liaising with Suppliers
·Implementing menus for customer requirements
·Opportunity to help develop exciting workshops and cookery courses for clients for our sister company
·2+ years' of culinary or kitchen experience
·Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
·Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
·A wide knowledge of cuisines
