As an ICT Administrator, you will be part of the ICT Service Delivery Administration team. This team's function is to provide administrative support to the ICT department and all of other departments within the company for ICT procurement requests (hardware, software, ad-hoc), 3rd party suppliers, invoicing, internal recharging, creating, updating and analysing of related reports.
This role is based close to Hertford.
The main experience they are seeking is someone with sound admin skills with some understanding of basic procurement, assets and invoices along with general data.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a rapidly changing environment. It is essential that you possess strong organizational and administration skills. You will also need an eye for detail, have the ability to work under pressure, communicate to all levels of employees and work on your own initiative. Also crucial are excellent customer service skills and a keen focus on continuous service improvement and delivering results for the UK group.
Provide support to customers face-to-face, and on the phone, using the ICT Service Desk system to fulfil requests for IT equipment, software and services related to IT, ensuring they are met within agreed ICT target time scales.Raising requisitions & purchase order with correct detailed & accurate information to submit to appropriate line management authority and place subsequent orders for authorized equipment.Co-ordinate with preferred suppliers to ensure they are able to meet ICT target time scales for all requests and orders that are placed.Participate in performance management of suppliers, including meetings, feedback and recommendations of new suppliers and products.Manage day-to-day movements of ICT hardware and software assets using the ICT assets database. Utilising your sound Excel skills with lots of spreadsheet reporting.Cost administration - Processing invoices, journal vouchers & credit notes in a timely manner for submission to the accounts department.Support the ICT department by inputting accurate information, into departmental, and supplier databases.Back To Jobs
